PENTA Sports has been performing outstanding lately. They managed to win highest tier teams like Titan and fnatic, and I would even say that they won pretty convincingly despite the close scores – 16:08 against Titan and 16:12 against fnatic (especially when this map is considered as one of the best fnatic’s maps of all time). After taking these wins they managed to destroy Copenhagen Wolves 2:0 (16:10 on de_inferno and 16:05 on de_dust2), pretty close wins against AliGon (16:13, 16:12, 16:12 on de_dust2/de_cache/de_inferno). Overall this team has been doing good in online matches and on the latest LAN tournaments. They managed to knock-out Virtus.Pro on de_mirage (considered as Virtus.Pro’s strongest map) 16:09 with a superior performance and 16:13 on de_inferno against HellRaisers. Those were also BO1 games and PENTA Sports is known for being good at BO1 games.
After strux1 left PENTA, they added Troubley to their squad which is an upgrade rather than a downgrade in our opinion. He’s a great fragger and can step up if needed, also he’s a pretty good ingame leader as we saw in the matches against Titan and fnatic.
Nex (PENTA’s star player) has been stepping up big time lately against every team he saw on his way. He almost single-handedly won against fnatic dropping more than a 30 bomb and that game was impressive. I never thought that PENTA Sports could win fnatic on one of their strongest maps, but it happened in a fashion.
LGB has been in a slump recently with not so great results. They lost 4 out of their last 5 games which is a bad thing, however they played against top teams like NiP, fnatic, EnVyUS and Titan and basically got destroyed by them. Only somewhat close game was against Ninjas in Pyjamas on de_cache, but it was one of the very first games with allu stepping in for Ninjas, but overall LGB’s performance lately has been very poor and that is why we’re giving an edge to PENTA.
The reason why we’re favouring/going with PENTA Sports is because PENTA Sports has more experience on LAN tournaments and they’ve already been on one major, and they did good on it. They managed to win Copenhagen Wolves and iBUYPOWER in the last major, but lost against Virtus.Pro in a BO3 (16:09, 16:05 which was kind of expected).
With all this being said, we’re giving an advantage to PENTA mostly because they’ve bigger experience on these LAN tournaments and they’ve already proven themselves to be a good team while LGB’s performance lately was dissapointing and considering that this is a BO1 – most of the maps favour PENTA Sports.
Prediction: Honestly this is a 50%/50% match, but we’re giving an advantage to PENTA, because of their great performance on both online and LAN. Most of the maps favour PENTA Sports in this one and we think that they’ll veto LGB’s strongest maps. Time will tell!
Suggestion: Low/Medium bet on PENTA Sports or a low bet on LGB. Go with your gut, but we’re going with PENTA this time!
Don’t bet what you can’t afford to lose! Good luck with your bets!
