The Match-up
These two have not met each other before, so there is no previous data to speculate around! Though, we do have their respective performances in their group stage opening matches – Kinguin fell short to Brazilians of Luminosity (as I expected; 6:16 lose at overpass) and Immunity fought decent against Virtus.Pro (8:16 at cobblestone) who went on to win Cloud9 in order to secure their spot in the Top 8.
I’m not a rocket scientist, but in my book playing decent versus a team like Virtus.Pro (at one of their favorite maps cobblestone) is a much bigger achievement then getting demolished by Brazilians of Luminosity in a match up you were practically on par with the other team. Of course – we saw Brazilians of Luminosity actually performing really well yesterday, but to be honest, Kinguin did not impress (at all)!
Prediction: Looking at yesterdays performance I still have no idea why people are riding the Kinguin train! Yes, they are favorites here (again), but they played really poorly yesterday and this time around their opponent is once a gain a dark-horse team, who can come out and surprise them. I don’t think this is a “88%/12%” odds game, and I do expect it to be lot closer than that.
Suggestion: Looking at the odds now (88%/12% at the time of writing) there is no doubt that Kinguin are over-hyped and under-performing. I would suggest going small on Immunity here!

The Match-up
These two have met once back at Dreamhack Valencia where Cloud9 took the advantage of Kinguin and won their game with a 16:7 scoreline at dust2. Other than that – Cloud9 were a bit off the track yesterday in their game versus Virtus.Pro. They played decent, but not quite well enough to overcome the Poles. As TaZ said in a post-game interview – it’s just too easy to read seangares, so that answers that! Kinguin on the other hand (as mentioned before) did not impress me at all, and they won’t be favorite here either. It’s only uphill for Kinguin from this point on!
Prediction: If Cloud9 pull their staff together, they should have no problems in overcoming the international Kinguin squad. Though, if Kinguin beat Immunity with a super confident scoreline, Cloud9 should be careful cause at the end of the day it’s still a one Best-of-One to determine the team who goes to the play-offs. All in all – boys from NA should have this in the bag!
Suggestion: At the time of writing the odds are kind of bit too skewed towards Cloud9 to actually make a profitable bet on the NA side. If the odds don’t change, you might as well skip this one or put some small bet on Kinguin just to make the game more interesting to watch!

The Match-up
Cloud9 have met Immunity two times (both at GFinity Spring Masters II) and with no surprises – the boys from NA took both games with no struggle at all (16:2 at train; 16:6 at cache). Although, Immunity showed quite a good performance versus Virtus.Pro, looking at their previous match-up’s, there should be no way Cloud9 could ever lose this. At this point I think there is nothing that could change the tides (odds) of this match, not even Immunity’s stunning performance vs Kinguin (if they demolish ScreaM and co in order to get here).
Prediction: As much as I would like a close game between these two, I don’t really think we’re gonna get it. Seangares knows how to counter the boys from Australia, and he has proven that before, and this time around it should be no different!
Suggestion: At the time of writing the odds are kind of bit too skewed towards Cloud9 to actually make a profitable bet on the NA side. If the odds don’t change, you might as well skip this one or put some small bet on Immunity just to make the game more interesting to watch!
Don’t bet what you can’t afford to lose! Good luck with your bets!
